Sun shines down for Sports Day

After a slightly blowy start, the weather behaved as beautifully as the children for our annual sports day.  As ever, the children demonstrated great determination, teamwork and support for each other.  It was a day for enjoying being with friends and celebrating each other’s successes and great team work.

The day began with a short assembly and the presentation of medals for the field events which have been undertaken by Upper School children in the run-up to Sports Day.

At the end of the day it was a close finish for Disraeli and Penn with 78 points and 81 points respectively but the overall winners were Hampden, with 112.

Siri took the cup for the highest points for the Lower School girls and Harley took away the cup for Lower School boys.  In Upper School, Emma and Max were the overall victors for Upper School Field Champions, with Emma and Adam taking away the cups for Upper School Track Champions.
