Electric Learning

Year Four have started on their electricity and conductors topic this term.  They decided to begin their learning by actually finding out how much power we, as a school, use on a daily basis.  Our inspired ‘Power Inspectors’ did a thorough check throughout the school and this is what they found:

Most classes had their lights turned off when they were not in the room; no windows were left opened with the heating on and even the photocopier was on standby mode when not in use during the day!  However, one interactive whiteboard was left on and there was a slight draft above one of the doors.  Watch out for more from our inspectors as the term progresses!
