A Taste of Local History

Years One and Two started the week with a sun-filled visit to the Chiltern Open Air Museum.  Year One focused on adding to their understanding of nature by indulging in some pond-dipping and bug hunting in the amazing grounds of the Museum. Meanwhile, Year Two supplemented their material studies by looking at the changes that occur when one mixes materials to make bricks and the changes that occur when making butter.  Both workshops showed how difficult it can be to separate some materials once they have been mixed together!
