On Thursday, the pressure was on the Year Five and Six footballers after the resounding victory by our Year Three and Four team earlier in the week. Our eleven children welcomed a strong team from our sister school, Griffin House.
From the first whistle it was clear that Crown House were in a dominant mood. Their tackling was firm and crisp as they went about restricting their opponents. Their attacking was free flowing and led to an impressive six goals to one victory.
I am really pleased for the children. They are reaping the rewards of the hard work and dedication they have put in during their lunch time training sessions. All the footballers in the Upper School Squads give up their lunch play to train and it certainly shows in their teamwork.Previous
