Yesterday, children from across Lower School formed new ‘classes’ for the morning, as some of our youngest and our oldest Year Two pupils mixed together to learn more about some of our bodily fluids and inner workings.
It was fantastic to see the children working together, with the older children helping the younger ones.
The children found out about the make-up of our blood, our vomit and our mucus, whilst the fourth group focused on investigating how far germs spread and how colour spreads.
“It was the best day ever!” said Jesse, “I liked the colour patterns.”
Micah really enjoyed the session on blood. He said: “I found out that the white blood cells fight germs and help keep me healthy.”
